Kiyomi Professional Photoshoots ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Kiyomi mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
Photos and Images
When you use Kiyomi, you upload photos or selfies that are processed by our AI to generate new images. We collect and store these photos to provide the AI generation service and app functionality.
Face Data
When you upload photos or selfies, our AI processes facial information contained in those images to generate new AI images. Regarding this face data:
- What we collect: Photos containing your face; we do not extract or store facial feature data, biometric identifiers, or facial embeddings separately from your photos
- How it's used: Solely to generate AI images based on your appearance
- Third-party processing: Your photos are sent to Google Gemini for AI image generation; Google processes and discards images per their API data usage policy
- Storage: Your photos are stored on our servers (Convex) to provide app features including generation history, gallery, and publishing
- Retention: Source photos you upload are automatically deleted 30 days after your most recent AI generation to limit data retention while allowing time for additional generations; generated images are retained as user content for the lifetime of your account
- Your control: You can delete individual photos at any time within the app; all photos are permanently deleted when you delete your account
- Not used for: Facial recognition, identification, or AI model training
Device Information
We automatically collect certain device information including:
- Device type and operating system version
- Unique device identifiers
- App version
Purchase Information
If you subscribe to premium features, payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment card details.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate AI-powered images based on your uploaded photos
- Process and fulfill your subscription
- Improve and optimize the app
- Respond to your support requests
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Convex — Backend infrastructure and data storage
- Google Gemini — AI image generation processing
- RevenueCat — Subscription and payment management
These services may have access to your data as necessary to perform their functions. Each service maintains its own privacy policy governing their use of your data.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Source photos (face data): Photos you upload containing your face are automatically deleted 30 days after your most recent AI generation. This retention period allows you to generate additional image packs without re-uploading while limiting how long we store your face data. You can also delete your photos manually at any time within the app.
- Generated images: AI-generated images are retained as user content for the lifetime of your account to enable social features including sharing and publishing. You can delete individual generated images at any time.
- Subscription data: Maintained as long as you have an active subscription or as required for billing records.
To delete your data, you can:
- Delete your uploaded photos and generated images within the app
- Delete your account to permanently remove all server-side data

Children's Privacy
Kiyomi is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@ensous.com

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
